“Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” follows magical proposals, weddings and other milestone celebrations at Disney properties all over the world. From the Eiffel Tower to the glaciers of Alaska, deserving couples get a little boost from artists and performers to elevate their experiences.
Mark Roberts
Mark Roberts is a first-generation Mexican American film and television producer. He co-founded Roberts Media, a full-service content production company with his wife Ann Lewis Roberts. His background is steeped in independent film and documentaries. Roberts is committed to storytelling through a diverse lense featuring comedy, music and family. Roberts loves working closely with writers, directors and actors and is involved in all aspects of projects, from development to delivery.
2024 will have three of Roberts films premiering “Meet Me Next Christmas” for Netflix starring Christina Milian and acapella group PENTATONIX, written by Camillia Cordelia and Molly Halderman. Roberts also has two additional films premiering in November with long time producing partner Mario Lopez and his ViaMar productions. Together they produced the well received Feliz NaviDad, Holiday in Santa Fe, and Steppin’ into the Holiday for Lifetime Television. Next up is the Lopez starring “Grownup Christmas Wish” and “Get Him Back For Christmas” with Alexa and Carlos PenaVega who star and produce.
Upcoming projects include “Wasp Woman” starring Amy Sedaris, written and directed by Paul Dinello, a follow up to Sundance official selection “Strangers With Candy”, a collab with Amy, Paul and Stephen Colbert with executive producer David Letterman and Roberts producing. Also in development, documentary “The Rise of the Female Mariachi” and “First Born” for Netflix.
Roberts is also co-host of the informative Film Hustlers podcast, interviewing industry pros about their humble beginnings and journey to success.
Ann Lewis Roberts D.G.A/W.G.A
Ann Lewis Roberts is an award-winning producer, writer, executive and co-founder of Roberts Media with her husband, producer Mark Roberts. A highly respected leader and creator, Roberts began as a producer and writer for the top entertainment news program, “Entertainment Tonight” and was recruited by NBC to launch “Access Hollywood”. Comcast then hired Roberts as Vice President, Programming and Development for E! Networks where she was responsible for the successful series “Dr. 90210”, How Do I Look”, and “Clean House”. The Walt Disney Company brought Roberts to Disney ABC as Senior Vice President where she oversaw the unscripted studio ABC Media Productions with a focus on unscripted programming for primetime, daytime, syndication and cable including oversight for Emmy Award winning franchises “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire”, “The View” and “The Chew”.
Roberts has the rare perspective of creating successful programming for streamers, network, cable and syndication as a buyer and a seller. Roberts has a powerful understanding of how to find talent and creating programming that elevates a brand. Proud of her recently completed Journalism degree, Roberts is a member of the DGA, WGA and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Roberts’ 2024 current programming is the “Cheap Old House” franchise on MAX and Discovery+ as well as popular series on Disney + including “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” and “Decorating Disney”. Upcoming projects include the documentary “The Rise of the Female Mariachi”, “Meet Your Maker: Studio McGee” for Hallmark Channel and “The Frenchie Clause”.
